Use Sacrifice Beads & Suffering to Help Your Loved Ones
After Brett passed away, it seemed to me that God was giving me signs that he was saved (for which I am so grateful). I asked a priest, whom I knew was faithful to the Magisterium of the Church, if I could count on this. His answer I have never forgotten. It has helped me in so many ways even though it was difficult to hear at first!

A Mission for the Bereaved: Living Out the Message of Fatima
There is something strangely comforting about the message that the Angel of Peace and Our Lady brought to us from Heaven even though it is full of paradoxes.

For more please visit https://sentrad.org/multimedia/ These media files are Penanceware, which require that you do one of the following: (1) $1.00 via Paypal (https://sentrad.org/), (2) offer up a decade of the Rosary, or (3) perform some form of penance for the intentions of Fr. Ripperger (for each individual media file downloaded). The same rule applies if you copy and distribute to friends.
Purgatory: What's It All About?
God respects the free will of people on earth. We can consciously choose what to do and how to do it. But since the beginning of time people have used their free will to choose sin. It is the misuse of human free will that leads to moral evil, like greed, envy, lust, lying, gossip, anger, pride, etc., in our world.
Sharing a Coke with Brett
The Catechism of the Catholic Church states that: "Our prayer for them [those who have died] is capable not only of helping them, but also of making their intercession for us effective" (CCC, 958).
Why I Continue to Pray for My Deceased Son
Isn't he already in Heaven?
My son died unexpectedly. It took him completely by surprise. Because of that, he did not have a chance to prepare or to do penance for his sins. That is where purgatory comes in and where I, as his mother, can do for him what he can no longer do for himself! It gives me joy to be able to help him this way.
Taking on the Strong Man through Redemptive Suffering
How can anyone enter a strong man’s house and steal his property, unless he first ties up the strong man? Then he can plunder his house (Matthew 12:29).
My Lifelines - God's Amazing Grace
"The Church is a field hospital for the wounded, not a haven for saints. Its doors opened two thousand years ago, and they are still open today. Inside these doors can be found true peace and joy, especially for those who are hopeless, hurting, or suffering" (Pope Francis).

Praying the Stations with Mary While Mourning a Loved One’s Death
From SSA to Glory
Our crosses are used by God to give us the chance to live by Faith and so to increase our capacity to be filled with his love for all eternity - to increase the degree of glory we will enjoy in heaven. Do not rob people that experience SSA of the chance for God to use the cross they carry in this way. Do not dumb the Catholic Faith down to a natural level when God is offering them so much more! God will raise up great saints from those who are willing to deny themselves in this way!
